About Jina

I’m Jina Hernandez, founder of JH Professional Services, which I established in 2012 with a simple goal: to provide accounting with care and clarity.

With more than 18 years of accounting experience, I specialize in working with individuals and small businesses who want their books done right and, just as importantly, want to truly understand them. I know how stressful financial uncertainty can be, which is why I take a hands-on approach of digging into the details, correcting issues at the root, and ensuring everything is accurate, organized, and compliant.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and an MBA, which allows me to pair a strong technical foundation with a practical, real-world understanding of how financial decisions affect people and businesses every day.

Clients often tell me they value my attention to detail, transparency, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is genuinely looking out for their financial well-being. I believe accounting should empower you with confidence and understanding, not confusion and anxiety.

Outside of work, I’ve been married to my husband, Armando, for 21 years, and I’m a proud mother of two children, Lilly and Xavier.  As a Marine Corps spouse, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the military and veteran community and the values of service, resilience, and commitment they embody.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy running, exercising, lifting weights, CrossFit, volunteering, and spending time at the beach with my family. These personal values of care, discipline, and long-term commitment are the same ones I bring into every client relationship.
